(Another) 1000 euro grant to protect your intellectual property?
Good deal – The European Commission has filled the pot again; Since January 2024, no less than €18,850,000 has been made available to SMEs that want to prevent their intellectual property from being copied or used without permission. Would you like to get a piece of that (again this year)? First read how it works. Then we will be happy to arrange it for you.
To be eligible for the IP voucher with which the SME Fund of the EU Trademark Office helps you with the costs of trademark registration, your company must be established in the EU, you must have no more than 250 employees and no more than 50 million per convert years. Do you comply? Then you will receive back up to 75% of the government fees for a trademark or design application, with a maximum of €1,000.
Done is done
The lid was lifted from the grant pot on January 22 and will remain there until December 6, 2024. However, it is wise not to wait too long before applying for your IP voucher. The more SMEs discover this windfall, the faster the pot will be empty. And despite the fact that there is a substantial amount to be forgiven: done is, unfortunately done.
Business service
If you are a client of Bakker&Verkuijl, we will of course request the IP voucher for you free of charge. All we need is a signed power of attorney and these details:
Name and address details as registered with the Chamber of Commerce
Bank statement of the company showing company name + IBAN with country code and BIC/SWIFT code
VAT statement or Chamber of Commerce extract
Signed power of attorney (click here)
Easier by the year
If you have already received an IP voucher in 2022 and/or 2023, this is not a reason not to apply for it again for the first time. If we already have the above information and nothing has changed, we will restart the process with an email. And you will know within a month whether your grant has been awarded again.
Telephone appointment
Would you like to know more about the IP voucher first? Make a telephone appointment with one of our trademark attorneys. They will be happy to tell you all about it.
